A Tritina

Well, there is this one form(Tritina) i missed out during April and i had to let it flow before it questions me :p

The tritina is a shorter cousin to the sestina, involving three, three-line stanzas, and a final concluding line. Three “end words” are used to conclude the lines of each stanza, in a set pattern of ABC, CAB, BCA, and all three end words appear together in the final line.

If future is all that you desire,

Then go ahead my dear

And please do not repent

˜

Act now rather than repent

And fulfill your desire

As this is what you want, o’ dear

˜

If it’s not out of ego, my dear

Let go, there’s nothing to repent

Live thy life as you may desire

˜

If you desire, don’t repent, my dear

A Call from Mother Earth

On this World Environment day, Let us stop blaming Man for everything. He maybe responsible to a certain extent but the self-guilt accumulated consumes away generations like waiting for the end on a death bed.

Written this in continuation to the Earth day” musings from April  for this World Environment day

I strike a loud bell

for people to hear

Let them understand

I am not solely theirs

either to destroy or

Restore.

It is not in their hands

to bring back a lost life

Ageing cannot be stopped,

that is not the way of

Nature.

Yes, it is indeed selfish

to try save me again & again

I know they need me

for them to sustain

But, hear me dear people

of this so called

Earth

Every life that is born

has to die some day and

like any other death, has to be

Mourned

Old is always gold 🙂 while my old friends did stand by my side all along, i had the opportunity to meet a variety of like minded bloggers this year who made this challenge even more interesting and i am already looking forward for the next year 😉

Zen poetry in Zig Zag form

Once again I am mixing 2 types into one form for the last day of  A to Z April Challenge and  Global Poetry Writing Month

z

Zen poetry combines the literary practice of poetry with the philosophical principles of ZenBuddhism. As such, a Zen poem makes a philosophical statement or observation through the use of descriptive words. Unlike other forms of poetry, Zen poets typically do not use a rhyme scheme but rather implement non-rhyming free verse.

I would like to present a Zig Zag Zen poem of Dr.PD Allen who wrote fascinating philosophical stuff and related them to science.
