as Diwali goodies come

Tummies tucked so tight,

to have the yummys wholesome

 

Ladoo, Barfi, Pedha,

and Dry fruits of wide range

Tired of saying ‘thoda thoda ’

as greetings exchanged

 

By the end of the season,

you sure put up mass

And then find every reason,

for a stringent weight loss

 

And ofcourse the vibrant patakas

Lit by the lamps so bright

Fills with Dhoom dhamaka

Marking the end of demons’ fight
